Ingredients for Vanilla Cupcakes
1 1/2 Cup White Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
8 Tablespoons (1 stick) butter, room temperature
1 Cup white sugar
3 Large eggs
2 Teaspoons pure vanilla
3/4 Cup milk
What cooking utensils will I need?
One medium mixing bowl
1/4 measuring cup to help scoop and fill cupcakes
One large mixing bowl and hand mixer or stand mixer
Prepare to bake!
Preheat oven to 350 F
Prepare your muffin tins with paper liners
Prepare the Vanilla Cupcake batter:
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
In medium mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder and salt
In large mixing bowl or stand mixer bowl, add butter and sugar
Cream together (mixing speed at medium) until light and fluffy
Add eggs, one at a time mixing well in between each egg addition
Using the spatula scrape down the sides of the bowl
Add vanilla and mix well
Add about a 1/3 of your flour, mix well
Add half of the milk, mix well
Add half of the flour remaining, mix well
Add the remaining amount of the milk, mix well
Add the remaining amount of flour, mix well
Use the 1/4 measuring cup to scoop batter into the paper liners (fill 3/4 full as they will rise)
Bake in preheated oven at 350 F for 18-20 minutes
Important notes for you:
Baked goods continue to bake for an additional 2-3 minutes after you remove them from the oven. My recommendation: I bake for 18 minutes on this recipe and they come out perfect and moist! The perfect vanilla cupcake recipe!
